Dedicating a Star
Do I have to make a donation to dedicate a star?
We’re so grateful for every gift that helps us continue caring for patients and families across Ayrshire and
Arran. We kindly suggest a minimum £5 donation for a star dedication on this webpage.
If you’d like to dedicate a star without making a donation, please email inmemory@ayrshirehospice.org
with the name of the person you’d like remembered, and we’ll be honoured to add a star decoration to one of the Ayrshire Hospice Christmas trees at our home on Racecourse Road, Ayr, this December.
Can I change the details on my star?
Of course. If you need to update or correct your dedication, please email inmemory@ayrshirehospice.org
with the changes you’d like to make and your contact details. We’ll do our best to amend it as soon as
possible.
How long will my star be visible on the Light Up a Life website?
Your star will remain on the website until Sunday 18th January so you can return and visit your dedication at any time during that period.

What will the donations from the Light Up a Life appeal be used for?
Every donation helps us continue providing exceptional palliative and end-of-life care and bereavement support for patients and families across Ayrshire and Arran - whether that’s in our In-Patient Unit, our Living Well Hubs, or in people’s own homes.
