Palliative care beyond Ward 5B
Saturday 14th FebAs a proud and dedicated Nurse at NHS Scotland - Crosshouse hospital, I believe in the continuity of safe & compassionate palliative care beyond my amazing Ward 5B.
That is why, on 21st March 2026, I am stepping (or rather, abseiling 100 feet!) out of my comfort zone, conquering my fear and raising vital funds for Ayrshire Hospice.
Ayrshire Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to people living with life-limiting illness, ensuring dignity, comfort, and choice at the end of life. Their services support not only patients, but also families and carers, while helping deliver the right care, in the right place, at the right time across Ayrshire and Arran.
Protecting, investing in, and strengthening palliative care services is a vital commitment to compassionate, high-quality care within our communities.
As a charity, Ayrshire Hospice relies on the generosity of supporters to sustain and develop these essential services.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that high-quality palliative and end-of-life care remains available to those who need it most — now and in the future.
